A cookie is a small file which does not allow the user to be identified, but saves information concerning their use of a website. The data collected is used to facilitate subsequent use of the website as well as to produce various visitor statistics.
The refusal to install a cookie may result in certain services becoming unavailable. However, the user may configure their computer as follows in order to refuse the installation of cookies.
In Internet Explorer
Tools tab (image in the shape of a cloud at the top right)/Internet options. Click on Confidentiality and select Block all cookies. Click OK.
In Firefox
At the top of the browser window, click on the Firebox button, then go to the Options tab. Click on the Privacy tab. Configure the storage rules to: use personalised settings for the history. Then deselect to disable cookies.
In Safari
At the top of the browser window, click on the Safari link, then select Preferences. Click on the Confidentiality tab. In the Cookies and other website data field you can block cookies.
In Chrome
Click at the top right of the browser on the menu icon (represented by three horizontal lines). Select Settings. Click on Display advanced settings. In the Confidentiality section, click on settings. You can block cookies via the Confidentiality tab.
In Opera
At the top of the browser window, click the Opera button, then go to the Settings tab. Click the Basic link. In the Cookies section, tick Block cookies from third parties and website data to block cookies.
